Bought: (2)  Dove Men + Care Bar Soap - 6 pk @ $5.49 each, used (2) $4 off from 6/26 RP = $1.49 each, got back $5 Unilever catalina (wyb $15 worth of Unilever products) = $2.02 profit (1) Wheat Thins Stix @ $2, used $1 off Wheat Thins Stix printable (reset) = $1 Bananas - used  $1 off produce Hannaford competitor coupon - expired today = FREE French's Spicy Brown Mustard @ $1.99, used $0.75 off from 5/15 SS doubled = $0.50 Dawn Dish Soap @ $2.79, used $1.50 off $1.50 dish soap Price Chopper catalina coupon (not sure what this was from) and $0.50 off any Dawn from the P&G Everyday Savings booklet (doubled) = $0.29 Total: $5.35 - $5 catalina = $0.35 total (tax) I didn't have time today to do the larger Price Chopper shopping trip I had planned but made a quick trip, mainly to do the Dove Men catalina deal. I'm glad I went today, my store only had 3 left!  *The Unilever catalina is based on the products shelf price. The Dove Bar Soap is normally $8.49

Price Chopper has the 18 oz. French's Spicy Brown Mustard @ $1.99 this week. You can use the $0.75 off from the 5/15 SS to get it for $0.49 after the coupon is doubled. A good deal for a large bottle.

Target currently has a  $1 off any Hot Wheels item coupon on their website. The single cars are $1.09 at Target so you can print 2 coupons and get them for $0.09 each! This coupon is a manufactures coupon but says only redeemable at Target. The coupon is good thru 8/23. (thanks, totallytarget.com !)

Update: My region got a $0.75 off so $1.50 off doubled = $0.50  It's being reported that some Price Choppers may have Bayer Advanced Aspirin on sale for $2 so you may want to bring the $2 off coupon from the 6/12 SS with you this week just in case your store has it for $2 also! This is probably regional though, my Price Chopper didn't have it @ $2.

I came across this picture on the website Student Saving Bucks and thought it was pretty funny. The picture on the left is how the product is shown in advertisements and commercials and on the right is what the product supposedly really looks like when purchased. The photographer notes he/she even rotated the ones on the right to try to get the best angle! You can see a larger picture HERE. Looking at these pictures reminds me of why I never eat fast food - most of it is so unhealthy. I did however stop at Burger King with my husband and daughter on the way to Cape Cod last summer. As I watched my daughter (2.5 then) eating a Whopper Jr., with grease oozing out and onto her hands I felt like the Worst Mother Ever . And I could swear other customers were giving me the EVIL EYE!
